About the Job
We are a highly successful, professional Design/Build Remodeling Firm in the Lehigh Valley seeking a part-time Financial Controller to join our team. This position requires a detailed knowledge of, and experience in, bookkeeping and managing internal financial controls for a construction / building firm. 

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 24 hours per week.  Work must be performed in our office located in Emmaus, PA. No telecommuting. Scheduling is flexible during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include:    
  • Accounts receivable.
  • Accounts payables.
  • Payroll.
  • Job costing.
  • General ledger and system administration.
  • Internal reporting.
  • Cash flow management.
  • Financial planning.
  • Insurance renewals. 
  • Participate in all financial review and planning meetings.
  • Collaborate with our CPA.
 
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must possess a strong background in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions and must be highly proficient using Microsoft Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office programs in general.
  • Candidates most be comfortable with technology and working with cloud and locally hosted software. 
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant job experience in Bookkeeping and Financial Controls.
  • College degree is desired but not absolutely required.
  • A comprehensive background check is required.
  • Be prepared to provide a minimum of 3 professional references.
  • Candidates must be clean, professional, punctual and possess strong communication skills.
  • Candidates should be very comfortable working within a collaborative office environment.
